Wow Thomas, you read a lot into my statement. Start your correction with the fact that I am for drilling at Anwar. Since your 1st statement is completely erroneous, the rest of your assumptions are meaningless.

What the heck does your conclusion mean? Can't even understand it.

"Are other you don't know fundamentally evil because you know yourself and thus you know them."

Has anyone ever found an example of oil extraction doing permanent damage to any part of the world? This is another liberal myth. Our economy in this era is oil dependent and that's the one and only reason they hate oil extraction. In sane times, these liberal crackpots would not be listened to by anyone, but the left wing media gives them a voice, at great cost to the nation.

Permanent damage IS found wherever liberals are allowed to establish their hair-brained "social" programs. The human wreckage they create by destroying families, initiative, and basic human dignity lasts for generations. Yet I don't see Congress passing laws against them doing THEIR favorite damage. They only pass laws against harmless and economically beneficial oil extraction.

A nation that accepts this as normal will impoverish itself, and fade away in history...
