Well my first statement was a (worst case for effect)conclusion and then I posted questions. In your explanations you explained some of what you meant by did not address thirds no way position on other drilling. I write my posts in the context of a dialog and this started with what third said and then what you said and then how you answered what I said. I'd say I speak often with sarcasm and very seldom with indignation. But Indignation is a perception kinda thing. I take as a given anyone who uses the a term like "oil companies" and has a position that quantifies a morality is not thinking clearly. It's so vague a generality that it is meaningless. Non thinking has to do with the words you use. I expressed companies are people and it is people you do not trust. This is my attempt to get you to think about why you don't trust the decisions that other may make. Fact, Good and Bad are caused by some mix intent and accident. If one is concerned that the process of the status quo creates a situation that may lead to bad then one can define constraints. In that something like drilling for oil has not lead to the end of the world I assume that risk for bad can be quantified from that past experience and rules of conduct can be defined that make only good the likely result. If you break it you pay for it seems to work pretty well as a start. you say I read way to much in. I just explored possibilities of the meaning of a simple non definitive agreement with a stupid emotions based opinion post. And I did frame them in a sarcastic way. I like that word ridiculisms though. ridiculisms , hmmmm rolls off the tongue. I found third's post full of ridiculisms. tom watson tosiwmee
