I'm surprised you don't go back to FDR to find a scapegoat for the current market slide. You wanna put some serious coin on which party does better in the mid-term elections of '02 if the Dow/Naz/SP 500 averages keep sliding and more people are put out of work? (Hint: It ain't gonna be the party in power.)

Joe Voter ain't stupid. Clinton's leadership helped a stagnant economy in '92 rebound. In turn, he handed off a healthy economy to Dubya, and Dubya has failed to sustain the momentum. It don't take a Harvard-trained economist to figure this one out.
