Interesting. Can I ask what you think of MSFT server operating systems? How do they compare from a price performance perspective?

TIA,
Dave

Dear Steve Lee: Well, I know more about those two stocks (SUNW & EMC) then any other. I like the product, and the management. Personally, I think you are very mistaken about EMC storage product. IMHO not only is it cutting edge but they have a SUPERB service organization which in ENTERPRISE storage means a lot. I dont even consider the CPQ product to be a competitor and IBM so far at least hasnt proven to be able to put out much either. Hitachi seems to be a threat to the uninformed but it is several YEARS behind technically. As to SUNW, I believe there will be a niche market for them and their high end equipment. Some might wonder if that niche will be large enough to allow continual growth in percentages large enough to justify a nice PE. I am a little less sure about that but believe there will be based purely on past history and management. jdn
