Compare the state of the economy on Jan. 1 and today. Pick your barometer: unemployment rate, S&P 500 index. Doesn't make much difference. Bottom line is things haven't gotten better under Republican leadership. Re: "I personally think Gore trying to steal the election was the biggee that got it started." I would vote for the Supremes handing the election to Bush on a 5-4 partisan vote as the supreme outrage. Re: "What words will we use to describe a situation like the great depression if that ever happens?" If that happens, then start practicing saying, "President Hillary."
