Pretty cool, Jim.

I used to pick up a knife for my Dad at various gun shows, etc., every now and then. Included were some really nice commemoratives and a couple of sets of Kabar military knives like he was originally issued as a SeaBee in Hawaii.

Managed to get a "..one-off.." Damascus steel pocket knife done by Tak Fakuta - from the set of a dozen or so models he presented to Case that year for possible production models.

Also got him one of those Indiana Jones "..Khyber Bowie.." knives with sheath, etc. for his birthday the year before; mounted on a walnut placque with a metal copy of the Temple of Doom movie poster. He referred to that one as his "..sword..".

John :-)

These are my favorite knives ... not pretty, but practical ... handmade ... order one now, and you can have it by about July, 2004.

Check out the History page ... "It was a terrible thing at close range. (Your knife) would cut a man's head nearly off with a quick swing..
