Many thanks Joel for your kind interest in my quest, and also to Tippet for his reply. An acquaintance, a daytrader, was telling me that he uses a company called Comstock for his data and charts. (I am looking for an alternative to Quote.com who run into problems too often; Esignal don't have the bells and whistles I like in Quote.com) When I asked him if it was S&PComstock who I understand feed Quote.com their data he said he thought that was it. But he doesn't seem to be able to get to me their phone no or email and I'm darned if I can find it using the different search engines. When I saw Tippet's post about Comstock I thought that might be it but it turns out not to be. I'm still stumped.
