:-), Charisma is not evil in itself...IMO. But coupled with the desire to have power over people, I think it is a breeding ground really bad stuff. Since I don't have any desire to have power over other people, I am probably very well qualified for a job as an ethical politician. But, I would run like hell from the job...

I would recommend "The Dosadi Experiment" right up their with "The Postman". My nom de SI is from The Dosadi Experiment. "To Reign in Hell" is another incredible book, but hard to find.
