I don't know if it's that small, but I do know it's not very big, either. This was the hot topic du jour back when AMD was successfully selling the K6-2 to a newly discovered sub-$1000 PC market. They had a majority of the U.S. retail market back then, and the cheerleaders acted like the retail market was all that mattered.
