No bounce --- BKs occur when the majority know a re-evaluation is coming. They stay in the market either because of self denial or greed.

So, perhaps this all implies that this has been a calm, rational sell-off.

Me thinks this is one of the strongest arguments against saying that stocks are "oversold".

This looks like a good argument that we are not at the bottom yet either.

I never close the door entirely on ANY possibility.

How-some-ever, compared to cash, the markets are the place to be now. Whether that is persuasive for the nouveau (sp?) techies remains to be seen. And we could see a lot more hurt before it is all over.

I for one vote for a SPY retest which would have been my bet for today, had I had chance to do so!
