March 2000 to October 2000 (7 months). Phase 2: Also- Public Confident, Smart Money Fearful. Oct. 2000 to April 2001. (7 months). Phase 3: Public Fearful, Smart Money Confident. April 2001 + 7 months = Nov. 2001. A continuing slide into November should have the public frightened real good. Of course this is all speculation, perhaps phase 1 ended this April, and we're heading into the teeth of phase 2 - which would last throughout the fall and winter. Now that's scary! Have a nice trip.
