Jerry and Stocrash, congratulations on calling this market as well as you have. I know that you both - and particularly Stocrash - have taken a fair amount of grief from the perma-bulls and others who just did not want to face the reality of what was happening to the economy. Those who stayed fully invested in technology have seen their portfolios wither down to a little more than nothing. Even Stocrash's nemesis who started this thread decided that he could not take the heat from all of his disastrous calls, multiple persona, etc and chose to move on after swearing up and down that he would never do what others have done and abandon SI. You recall how Ike would accuse those who criticized his record of harping about his bad calls such as BRCM and ignoring those recommendations of his that make money? He would rave about his good calls and we would, of course, never hear about some of his outright disasters. Well, here is something quite revealing. Check out this portfolio that Ike put together last April of the stocks that he would recommend owning. The portfolio is down over 32% (as of last night's close) in just 5 short months!! Of course, Ike would never have lost any money because he would have done all sorts of hedging strategies that would have ended up leaving him ahead. But then, we all know that Ike never loses money! As, for the poor suckers who lost their money following these recommendations - as Paul Harvey would have said, that is the rest of the story! If Ike liked these stocks in April, at those prices he must love 'em at today's prices! siliconinvestor.com What is the easiest way to become a millionaire? Start with several millions and follow Ike's recommendations! Now what was that you said about the SOX? -g- Get ready for Ike to taunt the bears, the very next time we have a decent rally and then he will have to eat his words if/when we have another sell-off. But then every dog has his day and one of these days Ike will be right and we will see him in all his glory beating his chest and proclaiming, as he has done in days gone by, that some in Wall Street take their cues from him!
