And intially The City of London fears
layoffs and margin calls, while those
in the other pubs go for cheaper beer
and more common, social fun.

One interesting aspect is the handset market
in unsecure times, no new cars, no new house,
no new masts, no new dot.coms, 10x baggers,
but a new handset fits the wallet and the
social pleasure, if the handset can be bought
on the free market with free market pricing.

But maybe a little tough for those weened on
scam-subsidized free handsets??

Ilmarinen

I wonder if one will be able to get a free
color display GPRS handset, maybe the chance
to weened off the bad habit??

The communicator is obviously as "it" as "it" can be in the
pub, resolving debates with live internet pages, comparing
football facts and history, sending and receiving emails,
even checking which pub to go to next.

A new cultural habit is that one must start the email by
asking, where are you, I'm here.

The City can obviously do their own variation, shorters
and investors and the big manipulators above.
