Brian, My company did its layoffs in august. One time thing and no future layoffs planned. Christmas time historically has seen layoffs in recessionary times. If as the news has been indicating the 4th quarter will show some turn up, maybe we can escape what the doomsayers are predicting. Also kind of surprising that the unemployment number surprised the analysts. Not much of a cry from main st. as august retail numbers seem to show. Perhaps august is an unemployment blip up for the economy as it was for my firm. Mike
