I have noticed a trend in Science lately, they are seemingly admitting defeat in that they (it) can not disprove the existence of God.


If you think that it's the business of science to disprove the existence of God, you definitely need to read it a few more times.

Well, no. Nor can it 'disprove the existence' of Cthulhu, the Easter Bunny or Bilbo Baggins. Which doesn't 'prove' the existence of any of the above. Artefacts of the mind remain that.

Of the three, Bilbo's probably the easiest to believe in <g>
