Ian,
In today's NY Post Larry Kudlow writes that capgains cut desperately needed to stem the tide of recession. He called for a cut to 10% and elimination of corporate income tax which he claims costs more to administer than what it takes in.
Bush says lets have spending cuts to save the lockbox. This is what he worked out with Dashel. Tax cuts and reasonable spending is whats needed. Every economist polled whether liberal or conservative says lockbox claptrap a joke.
