If nothing else, it puts the stock in stronger hands..maybe FN gets involved in the mine financing (assumming it gets that far)?

Even a cleaned ECO cannot impoved the IRR on Dolores. Only higher gold prices can. However, over the long term, it is much better for MFL shareholders to have a strong parent than a weak on.
