Crash like 1987 ?

I won't be buying...

Just got the new messge from one of my timming newsletters. Said strong probablity of a Crash like 1987 between now and early October.

Yesterday, a different technical timmng service (Rohrbach) went negative on NYSE stocks. Thye had been negative on Nasdaq and positive on NYSE.

Note that SOX and Semis are holding strongly, but the weak financial stocks on NYSE (like credit card comapnies ) are starting to swoon.

Many signals are saying oversold. These oscillators work when there constant money in htemarket.. With redemptions from Mutual Funds, we can be oversold a LONG time.

I think I will be moving my shorts & puts to some NYSE stocks.

Best of Luck to everyone.

I'm watching todays selloff. DOW losing >200, but TRIN is sitting at 1.07. To me this seems like across the board selling. The broad market playing catchup with the techs.

There is still no bottom in place yet 16 days after ARMS crossed above 1.5. I suppose it could be today, but there is nothing to indicate capitulative selling. VIX and MacLellan Oscillators only now crossing into buy range.

Yeah, get the shopping list ready, but it looks like we have a couple weeks of downside remaining.
