I have no idea whether Mr. Adrenaline is a rocket scientist. The examples he used were taken from a high school physics text book, and I had already explained ad nauseum why the examples were too simplistic for the real world, e.g., why Kepler's Third Law isn't a sufficient explanation for the behavior of a satellite in the real world, etc., etc., etc. At the time I had simply run out of time to continue with the argument. I have caught up with things a bit, but my "to-do" list is very lengthy, and taking care of things on my list is more appealing than continuing to bang my head against the brick wall of a man who thinks that satellites can flap their wings in outer space (that's you).

I don't see any fruitful purpose to be served by continuing to repeat the same arguments over and over again. Unfortunately for you, you don't know enough about the topic to understand more than the rudiments, if that much, so you are making up your mind based on who sounds the most convincing, and who you like the best.

Mq, on the other hand, doesn't suffer from that limitation - at least, I don't think he does - and neither do I. Thus, it really doesn't matter what anyone else but he and I think about the argument. And if he doesn't understand why he was wrong, then it doesn't matter to me because I did try. Further, I tried honestly, sincerely, and in good faith, which is more than I can say for him.
