Bill,
By being against the large tax cut, Gore could have targeted tax cuts more effectively like Cap gains. I know this appears to violate the ideology but most Presidents are quite pragmatic.
As far as replacing Greenspan i agree but after the recovery and stock rebound. Fire him today and you will have a collapse. But he deserves to go. There had to be a better way to deflate a bubble. mike

While there's little doubt that things on Main Street are starting to get like things on Wall Street, one can easily make the case (but few are) that WITHOUT the Bush tax relief things would have gotten much worse much faster.
