Hi Rashid, I've been doing some reading on the $VIX. Larry Connors has done a lot of research on the VIX. He also has a course including it on his TradingMarkets.com website (Connors/Boucher Market and Mutual Fund Timing Course). According these readings (if I'm interpreting them correctly), the market should be ripe for a short term bounce(with multiple signals) if there is weakness in the $VIX...although most of the buy signals are @ the close.
