Do not even attempt to defend White House secrecy which may expose the big lies of this administration. Even if you voted for them you have a right to know what kind of people you really voted for. I hope this goes to court and they keep refusing. It will just make the American people see how dishonest they are and how much they have to hide, particularly on energy matters. And it's not like we're talking about state secrets here, this is a pocketbook and environment issue to all of us. We deserve to know and we will know. No way Congress, the Senate and GAO are going to back down on this one. And yes Clinton did hand over most papers when they were demanded in a similar fashion. That has been well-documented. To make matters worse, Buch-Cheney want a new secrecy rule which allows them never to divulge anything they don't want to show people. This is a big step away from a free democracy which is the way they'd like it. Fool the voters with BS PR then keep them in the dark about their real agenda and the real people behind them.
