It doesn't actually quite require people to be scofflaws, I take your point, but still don't feel like I'm exaggerating. I drive in the left lane because four lanes of cars tailgating and weaving in and out to get a half car length advantage is scary. In the left lane, ya gotta go 80 to not be constantly tailgated, which is also scary, but not as much so because you only have cars on one side. I'm not a wimpy driver, nor an aggressive one. I try to drive smart. On that stretch of road, that means 80 in the left lane, in my best judgment. Fortunately, I don't have to do it often. Karen
