>Did you know there are still people out that that do not believe Amazon will go bankrupt?
Yup, the Fowler/Harmond road show was a great example of investors who followed the Motley Fool!
Btw
If Billy had his way everyone would have bought Ciena when he was buying it @ 150..

I guess I will continue to harp on the fact I was correct in what would happen to Amazon. I felt like I was debating a brick wall and still am. I already made it clear my timeing and being stubbord was wrong. I would just think at this point Bill should be close to telling me Amazon no longer has unlimited potential.

I ran a quick burn rate based on Amazon revenue projections being missed by 3-4% and even with the $100 million in cash from AOL, Amazon will not be able to pay the accounts payable for Q4.

I believe that is the real reason for the alliance with Circuit City. I suspect the electronics vendors were not going to provide merchandise on credit.

The partners Amazon has "picked" or vice versa so far are the weaker players in their respective fields. Toys R Us is the strongest of the group but they are second to Wal-Mart in toys. Circuit City is losing market share big time to Best Buy. Barnes and Noble is killing Borders in the book business. It appears as though their partners are about as desperate as they are. Blodget says it is a good thing and I am sure he knows;-)
