Employment....only one year until "retiring" (will have to work at least some I guess after what happened to my IRA but I'll be moving away from the area)....San Diego but its public school teaching so secure for this last year.
Invested....yuck you'll probably puke....1/5 Motorola bonds 1/5 certificate of deposit 2/5 Oakmark Select fund (bought in April) 1/20th in Wasatch Core Growth&Small Cap growth (just purchased) and 1/5 cash.A little over 100% but you get the point.
Have a house that MAY, if it keeps its present price, pay for a for cash house in the new location (we'll be building it) ...
Debt: not bad, a couple of credit cards with total of around two months pay...will be paying off half, anyway this year before I leave.
Is the "worst" different for everyone?
