Ah! CB,
Worthless? I think not.

My daughter who happens to be very artistic and has a wonderful sense of colour (traits inherited from her mother) was creating 'Voice of Fire' type drawings that are still precious to me and far from worthless, when she was 2 and a half. She called them 'Rainbow Ladders'. and exhibited them in the horizontal instead.

Personally, I don't understand all the fuss about the antique handmade tea ceremony cups that are treasured by aficionados of Japanese art
No one is using your money to buy them and display them as representative of your culture are they ?

Did I say it was worthless ? I know I said CRAPPPPPPP! but that is not the same. Remember the dung beetle parable. If so much of our tax dollars had not been wasted on this 'Art' I wouldn't care either way. I'd probably be saying "Now who in their right mind would buy that ?" Sigh....

Have a good weekend. Don't break your head over this, it's one of those Canadian cultural things. We love to complain instead of brag :o)
