He is amazing. He was known, during his recent tenure at Tech, to incorporate the previous week's opponent's plays into his already extensive playbook. Not only are his schemes great, but he also is good at calling plays during the game. I'm not sure how being on the field as opposed to being in the booth will affect that. He was the coordinator of Ross' great passing Maryland teams (Boomer Esiason, Frank Reich, etc.), as well as the Tech national championship in 1990, and the Chargers team that went to the Super Bowl in 1994. Quite a pedigree.

Paul,

, I have not been fanatical about Terp football.

Since Ross left there as not been much to be fanatical about. Yet I've been a seasons ticket holder for all of the Dufner years, all of the Vanderlin years and will remain one for the foreseeable future. Win or lose it's a lot of fun. You get to see players like Lamont for four years. When I go to a Ravin's game it's a pleasure to watch Jermaine Lewis again as a pro. Even when they play Pittsburgh with those annoying fans that seem to take over the stadium I have to root for Chad Scott to not have a bad game. Md may not have a "big time" program or a have a great win loss record but there have been countless small victories along the way. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Md B-Ball but Md football players have had a greater impact on pro ball than Md b-ball players have had on their respective pro sport.

Let me know if you want to go to a game some time I have 4 seats on the 20 in the bowl. It's a great change of pace from the pro game. It's like fishing, the best part is going out and doing it, catching a fish makes a good time better, if you catch my drift.
