You (deliberately?) miss the point. If Bush was favored for over a year, as you said, it's a little remarkable that he barely won (even if he did).

Were anyone able to see the Republican Senator from Kentucky beat up on Greenspan on FoxNews? It was part of the "Focus Factor" with Bill O'Reilly.
