Equilibrium while waiting is fine with me. It's losing money that I don't like.

Joel, thanks for the historical perspective. I have long felt that the current decade would mirror the '66-'80 period in many ways. The book "The Go-Go Years" by John Brooks describes the stock market era in detail, but I don't believe that it mentions gold at all. This part of the cycle has been played out before and I am interested in learning more of the details of how and why it all happened before.
