economy and recession are kindoflike alcoholism
if you suspect a chance of slipping into recession, you likely will do just that
soft landings become hard landings
lower investing in capital goods means almost dries up
stock gains become overbought
stock sales become oversold
decimation in 1-2 sectors leads to hard times for others

next on the chopping block: real estate
consumer confidence is eroding, just on cue as I expected (late summer)
when the bullshit nonsensical pieinsky notion of 2ndHalfRecovery sham is shattered

no similarity to either 1981 or 1990 recessions WHATSOEVER
the Federal Reserve will be the LAST to figure this out
interestingly, saw a job lead in Boston Federal Reserve for statrat analyst
I might look into it, just to ask what Economic Heresy of the Week is this week
