Zeev, I'm curious how you're going to deploy on the 16th <G>.

By the way, with the telecom and networking sectors practically crippled for the forseeable future, I think 2859 is a generous high to expect from a spirited rally late this year and early next, and 3200 possibly a top after distribution.

I'm in the corner that to have a real sustainable bottom we can rally off of in October (after possible double bottom on the April / March lows next week) we may need to drop below the April 4 lows in October. That is the way real fear and panic will be generated amongst the masses. When the lows for the year are still uncertain, we'll get the "uncommon values" you have mentioned in the past, IMO.

One thing tech investors must think about is the probability of massive consolidations to reduce excess capacity, cut costs, and restore pricing power. HP-Compaq is just the beginning. This theme probably will be the driver of the next big tech rally IMHO.
