All this occurred in the pre-internet days, so it may be difficult to come up with a url. Buckley allowed that Podhoretz had a point, but of course he followed up with his typical circumlocutions, so it may have gotten by you.

Do you recall his urging for a Buchanan vote in the 92 New Hampshire primaries? He wasn't endorsing Buchanan, he called it a tactical vote, thinking Bush pere would have to veer right....
