That was a lovely post this morning, Allan. And the part about the market wasn't so bad either. -g

I think your points about expectations (that the stock market will always make folks money over time) and denial (that many millions of dollars of retirement money lost in the market in the past year will rematerialize soon) are well-taken. We won't get to that denouement until both of these factors have entered the public consciousness.

Yikes! And that guy's a 'professional' money manager, sad.

Just got back to see you folks carved another 230 points of the DOW. I appreciate that. The 'iii' of this '3' or 'C' is still hanging in an air pocket until below 9500.

Looking for another 100-200 points down before I expect what should be a flat 'iv' or the possible end of the decline.
