I have no idea if there will be a "final day of judgment". I also don't know what an expanding universe has to do with it, since if there is one, it will be through God's will. It is like challenging the credibility of the Flood by asking where all the water went. I don't know, but if God can create water, He can uncreate it, or send it into outer space, or reconstitute it as a grove of olive trees. When discussing the inherently miraculous, what we think we know of the universe has little bearing.....
