Dale, you have become a fixture on SI and will be here till the end. So, I have a new plan and will share it with you. While I will still be daytrading, I have opened a new account for longs. I will now buy stocks for 2 to 5 cents on the dollar from their 52 week high and hold them for years to come. Additional requirements are: They must be near or debt free, Have some unique technology for the future ie: the funding may be terrible but the sector will live on, Management must have been successful in previous ventures. I will only buy 1500 to 2000 shares of each company and hold for many years to come. My first purchase is CORV. I know, the stock has its critics but it fit the criteria, so I bought 1500 shares. (problem with CORV and rightfully so, is it has never traded above its 52wk moving average and insider selling). CORV was the most successful IPO of a start up company in a market that was going down (I think the Nasq lost over 180 points the day of the IPO). Huber and insiders had no choice but to sell shares on the spiral down knowing from inside knowledge of the future market. I am willing to lay on the line 20,000 dollars for the above criteria. Most of my friends here may say I am crazy, but if you step back and see into the future it is not all that crazy. This is my way of staying in the tech field so that I will not be one of the masses who say "coulda woulda shoulda". Wish me luck I am gonna need it. BTW the 20K was going to a new vehicle purchase, I guess I will have to drive my old SUV for 5 more years. :)
