Explicit denial from Vodafone....It will also be interesting to see what other operators are planning to offer from launch. Sounds like strong pent up demand. How's the relationship between Nokia & Hutchison?

Re: The World Cup. With CDMA 2000 able to stream video in Korea and Japan when the World Cup happens, it will be fun to see what impact this has. Once upon a time WCDMA was to have been used. It was assumed "necessary", but that seems to not be the case "in the event" - as it were. Turns out that CDMA 2000 can do and will do. This will be a very real test of "demand". Best. Chaz PS And GPRS is not even a player in this game - zero in Korea or Japan for starters, and can't come close to dealing with the requirements for VOD streaming anyway.

What kind, size of displays are these quack-guys expecting to feed?? Btw, HSCSD and the communicator display is pretty good for finnish icehockey, but the field is obviously smaller than for football, and so is the ball. On the other hand, grass has always been a challenge for picture compressing, ice is sometimes easier. Ilmarinen But I'm happy that some quacks might crawl through the archives, maybe even their own, and especially that they have learned to read words, devil or blessing, depends on the intentions and capabilities.. - As ever, the devil's in the exact wording - We'll have a trawl of our archives to see if we can disprove this
