$186 for an illegal turn? Jeez, that is tough. Here it is cheap with $45. Speeding goes from $30 to $150 (depending on severity). Drink and drive is up to $2000.

But last week a skiing superstar was badly hurt when a holiday driver turned left where he wasn't allowed to and kicked the other off his motorbike . Estimated damage: $Millions.

Just a hint: See if the prosecutor will amend the ticket to an equipment violation or some non-moving violation. Sometimes that helps keep your insurance from going up.
