Yeah, Clinton stood for nothing and everything all at the same time. That is the biggest problem for Bush, how to deal with all the promises Clinton made but had no intention of keeping, like Kyoto for one.

Reagan would never succeed in today's post Cold War New Economy. That's one reason Bush fails because he tries to duplicate Reagan when those people and ideas are total dinosaurs due for extinction. CLinton has proven what produces prosperity and it isn't tax cuts to the rich, deficit financing, Cold War paranoia, us against them politics, attacks on the environment and dismantling our social programs. Yes Reagan was a much better communicator when he was healthy during his first term. He was an actor afterall, and talk about BS, he was the king. But he too was a figurehead like Bush ruling for the corporate-CIA-military-oil power behind him, and if you don't believe that consider we now know he had Alzheimers the last few years of his second term and was not mentally capable of leading anyone. Proof, my friend and his father (a billionaire RR old pal) had lunch with Reagan one year after he left office. After lunch RR turned to them and smiled "Hi, Ronald Reagan" and shook their hands, as if they had never met before, and as if anyone didn't know who RR was. Scary. So who was running the country those last few years? "I'm out of the loop" Bush Sr.?
