Bill, Let me ask you a question. What would you rather have — a decade of technology-led, off-the-charts growth followed by a short, sharp recession in an economy still itching to find the next big thing? Or a decade like the one in Japan: anemic, uncreative growth, income stagnation and an economy with about as much life as 2-day-old sushi?
