Perhaps Gore would have nurtured foreign relationships instead of isolating the US from it's "allies". His attitude can't help our economy which does depend on trade with other nations. We need to sell our technology to the world but if we "give them the finger", they will turn to alternative partners. Many Europeans are disgusted with the Bush administration's attitude. His confidence rating in Europe is 17%.
