Exactly! "We'll we'll give them a tax break so that they can pay for it!!!" and so where doe the tax break go, into the oil company gougers' pockets, in other words Bush-Cheney's own best friends and contributors cronies. Besides the "energy crisis" was almost completely phony, manipulated and used to help Bush get into office, then abused more to gouge California and the rest of the country for their one-time 100 billion dollar theft and gouging of America. No wonder we're in a deepening recession. And tax breaks only begin to pay for it, and put us back into debt. Great.
