The cronies close to Bush are old and were his father's friends. And, yes, you can compare what is
happening today in some respect with what happened with Reagan.

On the other hand, while it is Bush's budget, and I read the Democrats plan to let him stew about
it, the Democrats must get themselves together and have a plan on hand. I am afraid that they
will not do this.

I am not familiar with Daschle. (That's my problem). However, I was very disappointed in Gephardt's
remarks to the press b4 Daschle became Senate Majority Leader. Although Gephardt
is in the House, he let many opportunities pass by without responding to what Bush was doing.
Even the press pointed out that the Democrats needed a spokesperson or persons.

I can understand why Gore needed to take some time off, but I wish he would speak out about
what is happening in this country.

However, Norton has, on the quiet, been appointing industry insiders to the Interior. These are people
who are suppose to keep America beautiful. What are their plans? The destruction of America the
Beautiful with drilling rigs and energy exploration.

Also, they don't seem to give a damn about the impact on the public's health from the carbon dioxide and monoxide emissions that were supposed to be lowered. Let's not forget the arsenic in the water which W endorses.

He should be made to drink it!!!!

And speaking of drilling. Has he thought about drilling on that 1600 or 1700 acre ranch he owns in
Texas. I think that would be a good place to start. Right in his back yard!!!!
