High tech, attacked "two years ag", gee you got good memory. In my early days on SI, I used to respond to personal attacks with equal vitriol, I rapidly learned that this is a futile exercise. On one thread, I caused the loss of a very generous and very good contributor, and no apology was good enough to bring him back. That was my final lesson. Since then, if someone is particularly obnoxious, I simply use the ignore button. The risk is that I will not be able to read some useful contributions from such posters. Luckily, my ignore list is extremely short. Zeev
