I agree. There is a limit. For instance, I do not plan on buying my little boy a car. My Dad used to say, "even if I was Howard Hughes, I would not buy you all a car."

What do I say, "even if I was like Bill Gates, I would not buy you a car." I will never be Bill Gates! I had a very normal upbringing and my parents taught the children about values, hardwork and discipline. I am going to do the same for my little boy.

I want to see him well behaved without being rewarded, but I want to reinforce the behavior, while he is little, to a point. Thanks for the book recommendation. I will try to look for that book at the library.
