Hi Jane, tough not to agree with that. Message 16321013 The best thing to do is assess the situation when it happens. I only have 1 plan for tomorrow. I will only trade if the markets sell off more or less continuously from the open until 12:30 - 1pm. When the fund managers who are selling and traders who are shorting go to lunch, maybe I'll try to play a 1 hour bounce. then I'll clear out when the come back from lunch and the selling resumes. If the markets do something other than that tomorrow I'll just watch. For all I know, Monday could be like Friday -- a trading day with a dozen twists and turns. By the way -- those inclined to short: Have a BLAST but don't get greedy, lol. Wall Street likes to nail the mom 'n pop shorts just as much as they like to lie to the longs. I was musing with my kids this evening -- when did the people in 1930 know the party was over forever ? It was probably pretty soon after the crash, cuz the banks were in the stock market too and so they probably started failing in 1930. I'm thinking that we might be looking back at Sept 6, 2001 as the day we "knew" the party was over forever. Chris
