Yes, but Wick is not hanging his hat just on the PC. He said, "The largest end markets for semiconductor devices are PCs, cell phones, networking-telecom equipment, and they all look like they are dead in the water for the next two years". Which is why personally I have made NT as my indicator of true turn around.

I have no idea about his other comment on stealing market share from others. I think it would be useful to debate how much competition AMAT faces from others in their major business lines and how strong the competition is. Of course on any given day one company may win over a customer from another. But how likely is it really for AMAT to pummel their competition in any field now?
