I believe I commented on this at the MITA thread. As money gets destroyed in the bear, the magnitude of moves should become diminished, as there will be less money available to force the market to continue in its' current trend (up or down). Thus one could expect that at market turning junctures the absolute level of a fund (particularly money market funds!) would be lower than the last market turn level.

Hmm: M3 turning up again? well one week or five do not make a trend. But it is intersting and important.. Bonds moust continue to fall in yeild IMO for the M3 to rise. To many days like tueday this week and there goes housing.
