glenn, not sure what you disagree with. it is a FACT that alan stopped measuring dollars in sales and started translating cpu speed into "dollars" and lumping it in w/ gdp. his translation was his opinion and nothing else. i call that arbitrary. it is a FACT that this accounting change alone doubled gdp and productivity growth.

the point is that folks shouldn't ASSUME. both did and both were WRONG, imho.
