Will Dell continue to be a great investment?
Dell's performance over the decade has been awesome as your chart demonstrates.

I have no idea if Dell will continue to out-perform the market. I personally don't think I'd invest in Dell today. Although, you could make the argument that growth over-seas could still be promising (China, India?)

CPQ and HP trade at a much lower multiple than Dell.

Has anyone looked into Calpine (CPN). Not really a technology stock. Not really even a gorilla candidate, either. However, they are the lowest cost generator of electricity (or so they claim), which is similar to Dell in that they are the lowest cost PC maker. Southwest is the lowest cost airlines.

Even if there is a glut in electricity, Calpine could capture market share. This market is huge (near 200 billion i believe). Over the next ten years, it is expected that demand for electricity will grow 2-3% annually.
