It's a much different world our children are growing up in now. ("When I was a child".....doen't that cliche ring a bell???)

I agree that coaches can be very important role models in the lives of children. Which can also be a scary thought, when you don't know the backround of the coaches. I say this simply because my husband and I were talking about this very subject earlier today. It is about time for "dad and son" to have a little chat about life. One of the things we feel needs to be included in that conversation revolves around sports and when to and when not to trust a coach. A couple years back Sports Illustrated put out an excellent special issue on this subject.
